THE ENERGY OF...WOOD

In this week's interactive discussion about the energy of wood, it became apparent that our community didn't really know that much about it.  We could talk forever about the energies of fire, water and earth, but we weren't sure what to say about the energy of wood.  Until we got started - and then it was pure magic!

RELYING ON OUR INNER KNOWING

Before we jump into the details about the energy of wood, I wanted to acknowledge that one of the best things to come out of the discussion was that we were reminded that we know a lot more than we think we know when we rely on our intuition and inner knowledge. 

As the speakers tapped into their inner voices, what came out was amazing wisdom.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE

The other lesson that we experienced is that when we come together as a community, the group wisdom and learning grows exponentially. 

We were brave together and inspired each other to use our authentic voices to speak what we were hearing in our hearts, minds and intuition.  It was POWERFUL!

AND FINALLY » THE ENERGY OF WOOD

So, what did we learn about the energy of wood?  If you look up and look around, you'll see that our world is cradled in wood. 

The energy of wood represents new growth, originality, ideas, and knowledge.  As we are cradled by wood in our homes, our offices and in nature, we are supported by its energy for our own growth and expansion.

"Wood has many layers, as trees have layers, as I have layers."   This was a common theme about the oneness we experience when we are with trees.  I am the tree.  Many tree lovers talked about their experiences communing with their friends.

And, finally, we acknowledged the inherent wisdom that comes through the energy of wood because of their origin in the trees.  Trees contain the wisdom of earth's entire existence.  It is information that passed through the root systems and shared with new saplings when they start to grow.  If we listen closely, we can also tap into this wisdom and knowledge.
